Born in Beijing, I moved to France to complete my studies.
Fascinated by this country of culture and freedom, I quickly decided to share the love I have always felt for the heritage of my ancestors with the people of my adopted home.
China’s cultural and artistic legacy is immense. From my many journeys back to my homeland, I have brought back furniture, antiques, rare and precious objects, as well as more contemporary creations. Despite the country’s intense modernity, traditions endure, and many artisans across its diverse provinces have preserved the ancestral craftsmanship that continues to bring joy and beauty.
After several enriching experiences in other fields, particularly haute couture, I decided to open my own gallery. My goal is to share the wealth of knowledge and treasures I have accumulated through years of study and exploration, bringing together everything I love and creating a dialogue between the Chinese heritage—so moving in its simplicity and authenticity—and that of other cultures.
Some of the pieces showcased in my gallery are rare and valuable, while others simply reflect who I am or who I have been at different stages of my life.
In the spirit of Sinatra’s My Way, My Wei Gallery is a synthesis of my existential journey, a syncretic reflection of my life.
Come and explore the two levels of the gallery, located at 47 rue Quincampoix, in the very heart of Paris. Take your time to be captivated, as I was, by the beauty and extraordinary diversity of this millennia-old culture. Among the collection, you’ll find exquisite terracotta figurines, elegant stoneware jars, ceramic vases, rare artifacts from various origins, and subtly decorative furniture—all just steps away from the Centre Pompidou, a temple to modern art in all its multidisciplinarity.
I will also host events and exhibitions on various themes or featuring artists connected to the gallery.
